Scottish Sculpture Workshop is delighted to announce the 13 artists taking part in the 2007 Summer Residency Programme. These include established and emerging artists from Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Glasgow, London, Bristol, Belgium and Canada. Taking place in two blocks form 23rd July, each 1-month long residency provides artists with time, space and support to either explore new ideas within the rural environment of North East Scotland, or experiment with new techniques and processes utilising SSW’s unique facilities. Following the residencies SSW will continue to work with artists to develop projects for presentation to audiences at a variety of locations and venues. This year’s major project, the GANGHUT Gala Festival takes place in Lumsden on August 11th.
