Following on from the critically acclaimed exhibition of new purchases, Glasgow’s Art: Recent Acquisitions, GoMA continues its revitalization by responding to the strength and proliferation of drawing within the current practice of contemporary artists. Country Grammar brings together work by seven Glasgow-based artists at different stages in their careers.

Ranging from pencil and watercolour to typed text and collage, the line-up includes works by Beck’s Futures shortlisted artist Hayley Tompkins, known for her tentative watercolors painted onto different types of paper; Alex Frost’s graph paper portraits; meticulously rendered abstract drawings in pencil by Kate Davis and watercolours on tissue paper by Sally Osborn.
