Concrete Shadows, The Changing Room, Stirling (15/11–17/12/2008)
With Ines Schaber, Lucy Skaer and Catherine Street.
With: Kate Davis
This exhibition is part of a longer-term project developed through conversations and connects the work of women artists from three generations hinged on either side of the major feminist movement of the 1970’s. New dialogues are created with the aim of exploring strategies of production adopted and adapted by artists, as well as looking through art practices to revisit/reassess female artists from recent art history, with an awareness of the passing of time. New work has been commissioned from Catherine Street and a new collaborative work by Kate Davis and Lucy Skaer will be available as an edition throughout the exhibition.
PRIVATE VIEW Friday 14 November 6-8pm Please join us and the artists for drinks and a DJ set for the opening of Concrete Shadows.
